What is OCS ( Organic Content Standard ) ?
Organic Content Standard (OCS) is one of the Textile Exchange Standards.
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is a standard for monitoring and validating organically grown content in finished products.
It is applied to all non-food products containing 5-100% organic material.
OCS uses the chain of custody requirements of the Content Claim Standard (CCS).
Certification
OCS provides options for compliance of claims against the customer and third-party verification of organic material content in the product. It includes intra- and inter-firm flow of products, raw material verification, post-harvest processing, production, packaging and labeling, storage, packaging and transportation from vendor to inter-agency transactions.
